After a while, they both reached the palace. And when they went inside, Theron, Kael, and Lysander were already back from another pack after completing their work.
Those three were inside, and seeing them, Silas was happy.
Kael took a step forward and came to Silas and gave him pluffy black outer cloak since it was too cold there.
"I'm sorry. I promised you that I would show you around the pack, but I didn't. I went to do my work. I'm really sorry, Silas."
Kael was apologizing because he was feeling guilty that he went to do his work when he had promised Silas that he would show him around.
And because of that, Silas was going to stay a few more days. But in the end, he didn't keep his promise and instead, he sent Damon with him.
Which was good, but it was not something Kael wanted. He himself wanted to spend more time with Silas.
