Meanwhile, Kate was tied up and thrown into an old warehouse. She was suddenly jolted awake by a splash of cold water.
She looked around, scared by the unfamiliar surroundings. "What is this place? Who are you? Why did you capture me? Do you know this is illegal?"
Kate felt embarrassed because her short skirt made her underwear visible.
"Oh, Ms. Kate. You sure know a lot about the law."
A chill ran down Kate's spine when she heard the familiar voice.
"Steve? Is that you?" Kate asked in a shaking tone.
She noticed Steve's fractured arm and felt a knot of nervousness in her throat.
"I didn't expect this. It's an honor to be remembered by you, Ms. Kate!"
"What do you want? It's just an arm. You're not going to hold this against me, are you? I wouldn't have done it if you hadn't provoked me first."
Kate's words irritated Steve. He approached Kate instantly and grabbed her neck with a hideous look on his face.
