Chantelle's eyes narrowed. "Are you planning to trade me for Lone Fox?"
It was the only explanation that she could think of. If they wanted to kill her, they would have done it already.
After all, she was surely among the important person on Lone Wolf's hit list.
"Hahaha! You got it right! I have to admit, you're smart. No wonder you won Daniel's heart."
The man in black let out a wild laugh and moved swiftly around Chantelle like a predator. His speed sent a wave of fear through her.
She couldn't shake the feeling that he wasn't an ordinary human.
Maybe Lone Wolf had discovered a way to push human limits beyond normal.
His chilling laughter echoed in the night. Chantelle stayed on high alert and her heartbeat quickened while the man continued moving around her effortlessly.
"The video is ready. Do you want to watch it? I can make another one if you're not satisfied."
The sudden silence after his chuckle did nothing to calm Chantelle.
