Chantelle scoffed. "You're really taking a kid's words to heart?"
She tried to break free from his hold, but it was no use.
"He's my son. Of course, I take my promises to him seriously. If I don't, what kind of example would I be setting?" Daniel argued stubbornly.
Chantelle had nothing to say to that. "Fine, go ahead if you want to set yourself up for disappointment." She had no intention of having another baby with this man.
"For you, I'd try again and again," Daniel said firmly. He had already made up his mind since the hospital.
From now on, he would live for the woman standing in front of him. He would love her and make up for everything she had gone through.
