Rowan nodded and quickly tried to persuade Daniel, "If Camille marries, the Nelsen family will prepare a generous dowry. If not, we'll still take care of her."
He wanted to assure Daniel that Camille wouldn't interfere in the family business. He hoped Daniel would be professional and wouldn't damage their families' relationship.
"We also know we wronged Ms. Chantelle. We will donate 10 million dollars to the Charity Association as an apology. Please pass our apology to her."
Rowan spoke humbly and seemed sincere. Daniel didn't agree right away because Chantelle should decide about her charity.
"Mr. Nelsen, you shouldn't call me to the hospital for work."
"My foot is injured, so I can't move. Camille was causing trouble, and I couldn't leave her alone. I didn't want you to misunderstand, so I invited you here to talk." Rowan explained quickly.
His foot was in a cast. He looked serious and honest.
When he looked at someone with those innocent eyes, it was hard not to trust him.
