Thea showed Chantelle the footage.
Then she said, "If they get caught, they'll probably say they were drunk and broke the dresses by accident."
Chantelle quickly picked up what she meant. "Ruby might cover the cost for them, and we won't be able to do anything about it. But no amount of money can bring back the trust we've lost from our customers."
Thea nodded, clearly upset. That's what bothered her the most and it would be hard to regain their customers' trust.
"Most of them ordered those dresses for big events," Chantelle said. "We need to focus on fixing and remaking the dresses quickly. If we don't, they'll blame us for not securing their orders safely. And they'll stop believing in us."
Right after talking with Thea, Chantelle told the boutique staff to start fixing the damaged dresses.
With Chantelle's encouragement, Thea pulled herself together. They focused first on the dresses their clients needed the most.
