Desmond Park sat in his office. Thinking.
'Since when I did become attached to these humans? I really should've just killed everyone…but I'm not the strongest person on this planet. I guess there's no point. But I've lost my true power. And I retained only this pitiful lightning. That other man took my white flame. I'll find a way to get it back.'
He chuckled a bit.
'Im excited to see how fast that hunter will grow, if he reaches beyond my strength, I could use him to gain my place at the pinnacle of the universe, to kill my father.'
His thoughts were interrupted by someone barging into his office. The only woman he knew who would dare to do something so bold. Luna. She looked a bit angry.
"Do you know where Jack is?"
"Why are you asking?"
"I know you met him. And now he won't answer my calls, there's nobody home in his apartment, and I have no clue where he could've gone. Just what did you do?"
Desmonds eyes widened, he was missing? Then Desmond laughed. Why would he care about that?
"I did nothing to him. Why would I?"
"I know you met him in that rift. I looked at the associations records online."
"And what does that have to do with anything? Do you think I killed him?"
"No but—"
"Are we going to have a problem, Miss Luna?"
Luna tensed up. And then looked a bit angrier.
"I don't know, are we?"
Both of them started to release threatening pressure. Everyone in the building could feel it. A suffocating ice cold chill along with a spark in the air. Desmond took out his lance and blocked an attack from an icy scythe that Luna had conjured.
"Hmph, quite violent today, aren't we?"
Luna grabbed him and flung him out the window. To which Desmond had no response. Luna jumped out after him and conjured ice spears to rain down onto him. Which he countered with several balls of lightning. To block and destroy them.
"Tch. Petty magic will get you nowhere."
Desmond shot a blast of lightning towards her, she blocked it using a wall of ice she conjured. And then throwing the wall down at him. He quickly s split the wall in two with his lance. And landed on the ground. She followed shortly and they clashed. The thunderous boom of lighting and the freezing of lightning. As they clashed. Ice spread to Desmond's lance, he quickly dashed back and discharged lightning from his spear. Destroying the ice while also hitting her in the process. Luna stumbled back and gasped for air. Before shooting several spears of ice at him. He easily destroyed them and dashed forward. She dodged and kicked him in the gut. He backed away. Before shooting a bolt of lightning directly at her. Sending her back. She covered her entire body in ice and dashed forwards, grabbing him and attempting to freeze him. He lifted his hands into the air. And brought them down. Bringing down a pillar of white lightning. Eradicating the area around them. Leaving them both in a crater. Luna was passed out. He turned around. Only to hear the sound of a loud whoosh. And when he turned around. There was a man standing there. Muscular. With long brown hair. Holding Luna, with a silvery green blade in his other hand.
"Desmond, did you do this?"
