Mundane
Mundane refers to normal humans with no significant Soul strength. They cannot integrate with the System, remaining ordinary members of society.
Mortal
Mortals are individuals whose Souls possess enough strength to enable Integration, typically during adolescence. While age at integration varies, it usually aligns with physical and mental maturity.
RanksofIntegration
First Rank: Integrated
The Integrated are those who have successfully connected with the System. While the System recognizes them simply as "Integrated," humans classify them into three stages due to observable differences in power, capabilities, and traits:
Stage 1
The initial phase of integration. An Integrated at this stage has access to basic enhancements provided by the System, such as increased physical stats and slight resilience. This is the most common state of an Integrated, with no signs of Law or Will present.
Stage 2
A marked step forward, as Laws begin to appear in the status window. An Integrated achieves this stage by proving worthy of a Law or through significant personal development. This stage unlocks greater power through the understanding and application of these Laws.
Stage 3
The most advanced stage of the Integrated. This stage is distinguished by the emergence of "Will" in the status window, reflecting the Integrated's potential to impose their ideals and intentions on reality.
But at the Integrated stage, one cannot truly manifest it outside of strengthening their Laws. Achieving this stage is rare, requiring immense strength of character or significant breakthroughs in power.
Second Rank: Awakened
The Awakened rank is when the soul undergoes a fundamental transformation, unlocking the Intelligence stat and granting access to immense benefits through the enhanced comprehension the stat provides. This rank is a turning point in an individual's journey, as they begin to explore and wield their Law in ways that reshape their abilities and identity.
The Intelligence stat allows for accelerated thought processing, and near-instantaneous reaction times. Awakened use less energy to activate their abilities, allowing sustained combat or creation.
At the this rank, an individual's comprehension of their Law deepens significantly, enabling them to project and externalize its effects beyond their immediate vicinity.
This rank is further divided by humans in order to better understand the distinctions of power. Many wonder why the System doesn't separate them itself. Others suspect that although them, as humans, see the change significant enough to divide, the System doesn't. There are 3 Stages.
Stage 1: Manifestation
An Awakened can create visible phenomena tied to their Law at levels an Integrated cannot imitate. For example, someone with the Law of Flame might summon blazing firestorms, while someone with the Law of Gravity could warp gravitational fields to crush or lift objects. Unlike the Integrated, who can only apply their Law to themselves or their immediate surroundings, the Awakened have precise control, shaping their Law into versatile tools or weapons.
Stage 2: Imposition
At this stage, the Awakened gain the ability to impose their Law on others or the environment, overriding natural laws. Their Law can suppress or counteract other laws within their area of influence. One imposing the Law of Flame on the area would make the surroundings highly volatile and prone to combustion. A pale imitation of a Domain. They can imbue objects, weapons, or even allies with aspects of their Law temporarily. Garthem was previously at this division.
Stage 3: Personalization
As comprehension grows, Awakened individuals develop personalized techniques or unique skills tied to their Law.
At the height of Awakening, comprehension of Law deepens until it fuses not just with power, but with self. These Awakened no longer wield their Law—they become it. Their identity and essence imprint onto their abilities, birthing what are known as Signature Techniques—unique expressions of power that exist nowhere else in the world.
A Persona does not simply summon fire. They summon their fire. A blaze that remembers every scar they've endured, every conviction they've upheld. One might call forth a searing inferno that devours enemies but leaves allies untouched, as if the flame itself can judge worth. Another might turn silence into a weapon, unraveling thought and will alike.
Unlike earlier stages where Law is a tool, here it is an echo of self. Two wielders of the same Law will manifest entirely different realities.
These Awakened are no longer merely powerful. They are singular. And in their singularity, they begin to warp the world around them—not by dominance, but by presence.
They are Personas.
Signature Techniques: These are distinct and powerful expressions of their Law, honed through experience. An Awakened with the Law of Flame could create flames that destroy enemies, but empower allies.
Those at the Personalization Stage are called Personas. While those in the other two stages are simply called Awakened.
ApplicationsofLaw
Some Awakened begin experimenting with the fusion of their Law and external forces, leading to hybrid abilities:
Law Fusion: Combining aspects of their Law with external elements, creating unique effects. A Law of Flame user might blend it with wind to unleash devastating blasts of scorching wind.
One is not limited to a single Law. But mastery is paramount. One who mastered a single Law is far more powerful than one who is mediocre over a dozen. But subsidiary Laws can elevate the main Law.
Law Synergy: Collaborating with other Awakened to merge their Laws, achieving effects that are otherwise impossible alone.
LimitsandBeyond
Facing another Awakened with a Law that directly opposes theirs can severely hinder their abilities.
The Awakened rank represents a period of boundless growth and exploration, where individuals shape the world around them through their Laws while beginning to touch the realm of the Enlightened.

The Ferrier Ranks
To better organize societal roles and determine relative power levels, humans developed the following ranks for Ferriers, based on their stage and abilities:
A Rank – Unique Awakened: Personas
These individuals represent the peak of Awakened Ferriers. Their strength, Law comprehension, and individuality make them dominant active forces in Fenros. They are leaders, warriors, and innovators, often shaping the world around them.
B Rank – Imposition Stage Awakened
While still Awakened, these Ferriers are the backbone that protects the mundane from the Integrated Creatures, or Amalgams.
Overcomers who have strong Wills often reach this rank, earning admiration from some and disdain from others.
C Rank – Standard Awakened
Those who have the qualifications to be called true Awakened.
Overcomers also saturate a small amount of the Rank of C. Demonstrating the triumph of perseverance over inherent talent.
D Rank – Integrated with Will, some recently Awakened, and those that simply have high enough stats.
E Rank – Integrated with Law
These Ferriers are at Stage 2 integration, possessing and wielding a Law but lacking the refinement of Will. Some have exceptionally high stats, but their power remains limited by their stage.
F Rank – Barely Accepted Ferriers
Encompassing those who have only just begun their journey or lack significant accomplishments. They are Integrated Ferriers who have yet to make their mark.
G Rank – Aspirants
The mortals with a high chance of becoming Integrated to the System. Felix had the qualifications but decided not to become an Aspirant. Out of fear at the chance that he would end up not integrating.

The hierarchical nature of Ferrier ranks and stages has created a deeply ingrained culture of discrimination. Overcomers—those who rise through sheer determination rather than innate talent—are often met with scorn despite their incredible achievements.
The Enlightened Ideal: Enlightened Arbiters are revered as symbols of perfection, inspiring awe and envy. Their retreat in search of Domains is seen as a natural conclusion to their journey, further reinforcing the belief that ultimate power lies beyond society's grasp.
Through these distinctions, Fenros' people continue to push boundaries, striving to rise above their limitations while grappling with the prejudices inherent in their system.
- Arbiters: Are those that wield Laws. And a title officially earned when displaying such an act. One can be an Arbiter but choose not to take the noble position of Ferrier.
- Overcomers: Are those with a Deficient Soul but have the stats and abilities comparable to the Integrated. Mundane humans that, with the stubbornness of their wills, began their journey towards power outside the assistance of the System.
