Valentina's feet kicked slightly, her hands clawing at his arm, trying to loosen his grip, but it was no use. Her breath was stuck in her throat, her chest rising with short, desperate gasps. The pressure around her neck was suffocating. Her eyes widened in fear, she tried to scream, but nothing came out.
Then her vision began to blur. The noise of the street, the wind, the faint sound of her phone buzzing in her purse—it all became distant, like she was slipping underwater.
