"A little girl did this?" one woman hissed under her breath.
"She's just throwing money around," a man sneered. "Who does she think she is?"
They wanted to belittle her, wanted to make themselves feel better about the absurd reality they had just witnessed. But deep down, the truth was bitter. A girl who wasn't even old enough to legally drink had outspent every single one of them combined.
And she didn't even flinch.
Sofia exhaled softly, tilting her chin up slightly, embracing the moment. If they thought their stares could shake her, they were wrong.

The manager of Pink Mall stormed in.
His neatly pressed suit did little to hide his urgency. His phone was still clutched in his hand, his eyes sharp with disbelief.

His gaze immediately darted to the cashier.
