As the room grew quieter, the girls cuddled closer to Holo, their affection still radiating as they clung to him. Holo, feeling the warmth of their arms around him, let out a soft sigh. He looked at each of them, their faces glowing with love and devotion, and hesitated for a moment before asking, "What… what do you think about me?"
The question made Trixie sit up slightly, her green eyes sparkling with excitement. "That's easy," she said with a wide grin. "You're my master. I'd do anything for you, Holo. You're the one who saved me, who gave me a reason to live. I belong to you."
Scarlet chuckled softly, brushing her dark hair over her shoulder. Her blue eyes locked onto Holo with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine. "An object of worship," she said simply, her voice calm and unwavering. "You're more than just a person to me, Holo. You're everything. My reason for being. I exist to serve you, to adore you."
Felicia leaned forward, resting her chin on Holo's shoulder as she gazed up at him with adoring crimson eyes. "A savior," she murmured. "You pulled me out of the darkest place I've ever been. You didn't just save my body—you saved my soul. You're my light, my everything."
Holo's chest tightened as their words sank in. He had known for a while now that the girls were devoted to him, but hearing it spelled out so clearly, so reverently, made his stomach churn with a mixture of guilt and something darker. He had tried so hard to help them, to show them kindness and compassion, but in doing so, he had pushed them to the point where they couldn't function without him.
He knew it wasn't healthy. He knew their obsessive love wasn't what he had intended. But as he sat there, surrounded by their warmth and adoration, he couldn't bring himself to push them away. He liked it. He liked being needed, being loved so completely. It filled a hole in his heart that he hadn't even realized was there.
So he stayed quiet.
Instead of addressing his growing concerns, he changed the subject. "Eleanor…" he began, his voice hesitant. "I've been making progress with her. She admitted that she wants to be with me, but she's… intense. She said she wants to devote herself to me completely, no matter what I ask of her."
Trixie's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's great news, Holo! You're finally getting through to her."
"Yeah," Holo said, his tone uncertain. "But it's… it's a lot. She said things that made me feel like I might have made her worse instead of better."
Scarlet tilted her head, her expression thoughtful. "It's not about making her worse or better," she said. "It's about giving her a purpose. And from what you've told us, it sounds like she's found that purpose in you."
Felicia nodded in agreement, her voice soft. "You've done so much for her already, Holo. She wouldn't have come this far without you. If she wants to devote herself to you, why not let her? It's what she wants."
"But what if it's not healthy?" Holo asked, his voice trembling. "What if I'm just… enabling her?"
Trixie reached out, placing a hand on his cheek. "Holo," she said gently, "we all need you. You've given us something no one else ever has—love, acceptance, hope. If Eleanor wants to be a part of that, then why not let her? She deserves it as much as we do."
Scarlet smirked, her tone teasing. "Besides, it's not like you can get rid of us now. We're here to stay, whether you like it or not."
Felicia leaned in closer, her crimson eyes gleaming. "You don't have to feel guilty, darling. We're here because we want to be. And if Eleanor wants the same thing, then you should let her."
Holo looked at each of them, their words echoing in his mind. They were right—he had given them something they desperately needed, and in return, they had given him their hearts. But as much as he cared for them, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was walking a dangerous line.
Still, as he looked into their adoring eyes, he found himself nodding. "Okay," he said softly. "I'll accept her."
The girls beamed with happiness, each of them wrapping their arms around him in a tight, loving embrace.
"You're the best, Holo," Trixie said, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
"We knew you'd make the right choice," Scarlet added, her voice filled with pride.
"We're so proud of you, darling," Felicia murmured, her lips brushing against his ear. "You're doing the right thing."
As they held him close, Holo felt a mixture of emotions swirling within him. He wasn't sure if he was making the right choice, but for now, he would trust their judgment. After all, they were the ones who understood Eleanor—and him—the best.
