"Why the fancy mumbo jumbo?" Ragna grumbled, flexing her muscles. "I could put him to sleep with just a punch."
"With how angry you were, I doubt it," Arin chuckled. "You'd probably put him to his last sleep!"
"What the heck?" Ragna shrugged, her eyes narrowing. "In any case, our goal was to get rid of these jerks. There'd be one less thing to worry about with him."
"And then what? Have you not seen these people have a system of daily attendance, three times a day?" Arin reasoned, his voice firm.
"If he's missing for the next attendance, the village would notice and come here looking for him. And when they couldn't find him here, all of their suspicions would fall on us! You think we could afford that?"
