Both Arin and Ragna were completely taken aback by the sudden statement from the Succubus. It was especially shocking as there was not even an ounce of contempt, mockery, or trickery in her voice.
"What are you saying?" Arin asked. "Well, my dear child, isn't that why you chased me here?" the Succubus replied mysteriously. "Well, yes, but it seems a bit strange that you're asking for it!" Arin responded.
After that, the Succubus began instigating Arin and Ragna repeatedly. At first, it was a request. Then it became taunting.
Arin and Ragna tried their best to leave, as their instincts warned them something was not right. Yet, despite their growing unease, they found themselves unable to summon the resolve to kill the Succubus.
Soon, they realized they could not leave the place unless the Succubus allowed them to. Out of sheer frustration, Arin stabbed her in the chest.
