Ragna whispered to Arin, "Let's make a show!" He got her cue, and both of them took out their Unique Weapons together at the same time, brandishing them with pride—her 'Thalvak, The Arcane Devourer' and his 'Venom Fang, the Corruptor'. The Guild Hall erupted in uproar.
She seemed swayed by the cheers of everyone in the Guild Hall. However, he could see the jealousy and greed in most of their eyes—eyes he was very familiar with, after all. But he did not want to break it to her and ruin her mood. This burden of reality was his alone to bear.
They descended the stairs amidst rounds of applause.
After reaching the ground floor, they were bombarded with another round of propositions to sell their weapons in exchange for a hefty sum of money, which, of course, they declined.
There were also proposals for them to join other teams, which Arin politely declined (or else Ragna, in her anger, could mess things up).
