Arin and Ragna had taken an aimless stroll through the empty streets of Siterion that night. They had walked hand in hand, talking about countless things until late into the night. Arin felt he would never forget that night.
As the hours stretched on, even their words seemed to fall asleep. They wandered in silence, their footsteps the only sound in the deserted streets. Then, they noticed the sky turning red on the eastern horizon.
"I think you should go to sleep," he told her.
"Got tired of me?" she teased.
"Never!" He playfully bumped her nose, "What are you planning to do now?"
"Nothing!" she replied, hugging him tight. "I just want to rest—sleep for at least a week. Eat, drink, sleep, repeat! What about you?" she asked.
"I have to go back to my place, need to check things out," he replied.
"When will you be back?" she asked.
"As soon as possible!" he answered.
"Wait," she said suddenly, "I want to share something with you."
"What?" Arin was a bit taken aback.
