When the kids departed, Lapsia approached Arin.
- "My lord, you have dispatched the young ones for the hunt? At this very moment?" she asked.
- "Yes," he replied casually.
- "But should we not hasten to rescue our sisters instead?" she grew impatient.
- "I know!" he started to get a bit annoyed, "Do you want the kids to march for another whole day without food in their stomach?"
- "But they are unlikely to succeed in their hunt within an hour, are they not? And there is the danger of them being harmed. If your concern was their nourishment, you should have allowed us to hunt for them while they rested." She spoke with visible concern.
Arin was visibly frustrated and annoyed as well.
He took a deep breath and replied—
"First, among those ten kids, two are my most beloved in this world. Yet I have sent them because it is needed.
Second, I have sent backups, and I am continuously monitoring their movement. If there is real danger, they would be taken care of.
