The battle was quick and brutal. His cruel daggers kept flashing, matching the swipe of a vicious spear.
The buzzing and screeching, clash of metal, and groan and wicked psychotic laughter of Arin—all mixed and created a hellish symphony of carnage in that hellscape of battlefield.
However, it did not last for long and ended as quickly as it had begun.
When the last wasp fell, its body collapsed to become another corpse on the wooden platform littered with mutilated bodies of the Xib'al'kah night guards. Silence once again enveloped the platform.
