Arin looked around and discovered his severed hand had fallen at the foot of the throne.
He was wondering what to do with it.
If it was his previous world, then probably a good doctor would stitch back his hand and do something to make it workable.
But in this world, there were no doctors. He wondered what he could do.
But his chain of thought got broken as Lapasmita bowed to him, "Congratulations, my lord. The battle was indeed fierce, and I must confess, I feared for your safety. Yet, deep within, I held faith. The Chosen Champion of the Great Grand Lord of the Underworld could not fall so easily."
"It was fierce indeed," Arin replied, "I really enjoyed it. Struggles like these always make me feel alive, despite being an undead!"
Arin had thought she would find the pun funny but realized the old lady lacked a sense of humor.
"As expected of Dark Thunder of Dark God!" she bowed.
