Roy and his people did not stay that night, despite much insistence from Zikar.
Zikar was feeling an unusual mix of happiness and frustration.
He was happy because two adventurers affiliated with his guild branch had been invited to the capital to be celebrated—a significant milestone and a great achievement for the guild.
However, he also felt deeply frustrated. The unruly behavior that these two adventurers displayed in front of his esteemed guests had embarrassed him greatly. Their lack of 'civility' was a stain on what should have been a proud moment.
Adding to his frustration was a looming fear: what kind of rowdy and uncultured behavior might these two exhibit in the capital?
The thought of them bringing shame to the guild during such an important occasion was unbearable.
Worse still, Zikar feared that the Guild Management might reprimand him for failing to rein in his affiliates.
