Both Arin and Ragna were on high alert.
Although they tried their best to mask their tension and appear normal, Elaisa's experienced and trained eyes easily deciphered their mental state.
He smiled warmly and said, "Let us talk about it at the table while sharing bread! Freshen up and join us for food."
Elaisa then turned to Roy and Hailey, "Help our friends feel at ease. Make sure they're comfortable."
Roy and Hailey nodded, and Elaisa bid goodbye, as he had other pressing matters to attend to.
After he left, the four began walking in pairs—Hailey with Ragna, and Arin with Roy—towards the dining hall.
"What was your lord suggesting?" Arin asked.
Roy smirked, "Nice meeting you too!"
"Ah, sorry, man. I was just surprised by your boss's remark!" Arin replied.
"No big deal. But he's a good man! He wouldn't wish ill upon you," Roy said with a smile.
Then, he suddenly stopped and turned to Arin, "Unless, of course, you have something to confess."
