Enclosed Dream

[Froschköning's Manor, Noah's Room sometimes during his training with Momo]

*knock**knock*

Someone suddenly knocked on Noah's door.

"(Hm? Who might this be?)"

"Mistress, hm…"

*sounds of rustling papers*

"Ah yes, Vasilisa."

"(Ah, Momo?)" he thought going to open the door.

Indeed behind the door was the familiar pink haired maid, but behind her was also someone he wasn't supposed to know by that point—a white-haired pale woman who just so happened to have a face that screamed "Arachnea".

"Good morning, Mistress Vasilisa. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Arachnea of the Arachnea Clan just as the narrator had stated."

"She suddenly started following me, telling me that you were supposed to meet in the future or something to that effect," said Momo in a tired voice.

Clearly, that implied scene must have been hard on her.

"(I can imagine… Oh, and what about the gray dog, and the blind woman behind you? Well not that you can hear what I am saying… thinking about?)"

She can.

"Hm?"

Exceptionally, she can. I allowed her to.

"I can," repeated Momo.

"Hm?!"

"I can too! Hehehe!" made Arachnea, with a really strange smile which made Noah shiver.

"(Shiver? Why for? Wait, I am shivering all of a sudden. What the f… Ahem, hell is going on?!)"

"I am known as Schnee," said the woman with a blindfold before showing her dog. "This one is my dog, Fenrir."

"Woof! (I am actually a proper character in the future! Don't take me lightly!)"

Noah squinted. "(I can hear the dog…)

"Woof!!! (And I can hear you even though you are not moving your mouth! Also, your eyes are creepy, Miss!)"

"Must admit that the dog is right," Momo said, nodding.

"Ah~... Those empty beads!" Arachnea shuddered.

"I cannot really tell. Since I wear a blindfold," replied Schnee.

"(Now, you don't say that about someone's eyes. Anyway, is the dog male?)" he asked.

"I cannot say," Schnee replied, touching her face. "Since I wear a blindfold and all. But his barks sound masculine."

"(I have no idea what that means, not gonna lie…)"

"We could check. If proved right, it could prove that there is at least one male character in this story," said Momo, though the narrator must remind her that the story has a whopping 5 named male and 6 if Noah is counted.

"I am not sure Miss Momo met any of them except in flashbacks," commented Arachnea.

"I would not know, since I am wearing a blindfold and all. A perpetual Long Night my life is."

"(There is that guy named Hunter in the hall, no? One the servants.)"

"Woof! (Don't remember him.)"

"Probably not someone important," Momo replied.

"I already forgot his name…" said Arachnea, staring into space.

"Had he brightly colored eyes?" Schnee asked, taking a thoughtful pose. "I would not know since I am wearing a blindfold."

"(You guys…)"

Not sure he was even described.

"(Then, there's my father! I mean, Vasilisa's father!)"

The door leading to the bathroom opened revealing a girl with the exact same appearance as Noah, but wearing sportswear.

"I believe he went to get the milk," she said, a smirk on her face.

"..."

"..."

"..."

A silence.

"... I failed to see what was supposed to be worthy of a laugh here. Though it might be because I can see anything with this blindfold," replied Schnee.

"I just didn't understand the joke," replied Momo.

"I understood to joke but thought it would be fun to leave Miss Vasilisa hanging," replied Arachnea, with a smile.

"(I understood the joke but wasn't sure if I should laugh…)" thought Noah.

"Woof. (I would like some milk.)"

"Culture, huh?" said Vasilisa, shaking her head.

Then, after each of them explained how they crossed the barriers of time and space to suddenly find themselves in the same room…

"I genuinely have no idea of how it happened. Do you think the readers will turn a blind eye to it?" Schnee asked.

"This a April's Fool's special. Nobody will think it has some bearings to the main story," said Vasilisa.

"What is April's Fool?" she asked again.

"... Funny how you know what a reader is but not what April's Fool is."

"Must be culture again," replied Momo with a tired voice, her face on the table.

"(Just do like me,)" replied Noah , opening a book. "(Just accepts it)"

"Now that I think about it, are our current size normal?" Arachnea asked, referring to the small size they had taken.

"I would not know. Since I wear a blindfold and all," replied Schnee.

"I wouldn't know. I am trying to sleep," replied Momo. "I am more concerned about who you people are."

"(Should be over tomorrow anyway…)"

"Woof…" barked Fenrir.

"(I reckon you aren't a dog anymore now?)"

"... This might be worse."

"(I wouldn't know, my brain has stopped working.)"

And so, the little settled a bit.

"(Since you come from the future, can you spoil me things for me a bit?)" Noah asked.

"I will go to jail," replied Momo.

"I will go to horny jail!" replied Arachnea.

"I am jailing them," replied Schnee.

"Sometimes I jail people, sometimes I say woof."

"(... Very insightful. Hm?)"

From the open door Noah noticed someone he had never seen. But it wasn't like the one around him where he had some sort of "I have already met you in the future" feel—it was someone his future self had not even met yet.

"(Hm? Is there something the matter?)"

The girl—because of course it was going to be a girl—quickly closed the door as if he found her doing the most embarrassing thing in her life.

"(Well, peeking could be considered embarrassing?)"

"Heh. No, it is lovely!" replied the white-haired maid.

"(...Am I supposed to meet this one in the future?)"

Yes.

"(Must I beat her or something?)"

Yes, but no.

"(... Can I change that?)"

Yes, but that would require a whole spin-off so no. Not yet.

"I might get a spin-off of mine in the future," said Schnee raising her hand.

"Blind Woman Adventures: A I Blue Spin-off," mocked Fenrir.

"Maybe I should get a spin-off on my past too?" asked Momo who apparently wasn't sleeping.

"I can't sleep with so many people speaking."

"(What about the girl from earlier? Seemed important.)"

"Had she brightly colored eyes? I could not tell because—"

"(You just love reminding us that you can't see, huh?)"

You can stop all of this if you go and meet with her. She is just behind the door.

"Stop this, hm…"

From her tone, Noah had the impression that the white-haired maid had the intention to stop him like she sometimes did.

"(I genuinely have no idea of who she is though?)"

Even while having no idea of who she was, the feeling was still ingrained in his heart.

"(Now stop using the narration to make le feel things I am supposed to feel!)"

"Worry not, I don't intend to do anything. If anything, I think it would benefit us to go back to whence we came and meet at the appropriate time," said Arachnea, oddly reasonable.

"That was weird for some reason," commented Fenrir.

"Even with my blindfold I could see that," added Schnee.

"Just noticing how used I became to watch this one's life without saying much…" Vasilisa said.

"I am not unstable every single minute. Besides…" Arachnea looked at the closed door. "I believe she is waiting for you to find her."

"Then there's only one thing to do… Sesame."

A flash went from Momo's hand to the door unlocking it.

"(Since when was it locked?)"

Noah, following the flow for once and not asking to much questions, walked towards the door and opened it.

"(Such tyranny…)"

The doorknob turned and the door creaked open—

"(I am supposed to have already—)"

The doorknob turned and the door creaked open revealing a young girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"(... Wait, I have already met her, haven't I? When I came here…)"

She reminded him of the girl he met on the beach when he came to this world. However, she seemed way more subdued and frightened than the proud girl he remembered.

"(Hm…)"

"Ah… erm… It is… I am… er… I didn't think this is what you looked like, Mister Ash. I thought you would be… older. And a boy."

"(Well, I thought I would be like that too, when I met you at first…)"

"... I… I…" She seemed dejected for a second before looking up to Noah again. "I am waiting for you still, at that tower."

"(Hm? An actual spoil??! Which tower?! Where??!)"

"C-Calm down, please! We will eventually… probably meet there soon. Just, don't forget about me, okay? Don't just look at her, remember me too."

"...?"

You currently don't have the context to understand.

"(You don't say…)" Noah said, squinting. "(So this is just a shameless advertisement?)"

Yes!

"(Thought so… Let me guess, I will wake up realize this was but a dream and then forgot about it all.)"

This is easier when the victim knows what to expect.

"Er…" The blonde girl intervened. " This is indeed a dream but… I hope you won't forget it. Otherwise…"

"...?"

"No. Nothing. See you soon, Mister Ash."

"(See you? Huh, Miss… What is your name?)"

The girl's eyes brightened up. "Ah! Yes, erm, yes. My name is…"

.

.

.

"Mistress…"

*rustling of papers*

"Ah, yes. Mistress Vasilisa? Wake up. We must continue our lesson."

"..."

Noah, his head resting on a history book relating the old enclosed princess tradition of the Berattelse's kingdom, looked at his instructor with confusion.

"Hm? Is something the matter? Did you sleep late last night?"

"..."

*scribble**scribble*

[Do you plan to do something illegal in the future?]

"Hm?" The maid raised an eyebrow. "Well, if you are suddenly so interested in law, why don't we learn about law today? It is about time you learned about Judges."

Noah squinted his eyes. He wasn't sure why, but that question immediately came to his mind as soon as he woke up.

"(... Well, let's leave it at that for now?)"
