Noah was starting to get the rhythm of Zev's Steps, but still—the fact that he couldn't foresee when Zev was planning to jump was quite troublesome.
Well, at least it spared Noah from the pain of running himself, but could Zev really keep up that rhythm?
He didn't seem to be an expert in the delicate Art of Steps—a glance at the 4+ HP he lost each time was proof enough of that. In comparison, Noah could already reduce his HP cost to just 1 and use it without even opening his mouth.
(Guess that's Momo's training for you. Maybe I'm actually part of the elite?)

His instructor did say that Arts weren't as consistent as spells and could vary from individual to individual. Some people might learn an Art with ease, while others spend their whole lives trying to figure it out. Maybe the same applied to mastery?
