Chapter 109 - The One I Love Hurts Me the Most

I gave him a cold, disdainful look. "Lionel·Albert, since you believe her words, I'll consider my feelings and sacrifices as if they were thrown to the dogs. From now on, we are strangers!"

I turned and walked toward the servants' quarters, wiping the blood from the corner of my mouth. I pushed past a group of vampires standing at the door, baring their fangs and hissing excitedly. As I stepped inside, my foot landed on something cold and sticky.

Looking down, I saw the blood staining my foot. A chilling coldness crept up from my foot to the crown of my head. The strong, cold, metallic smell in the air made me nauseous. As I glanced around the room, a shiver ran down my spine—their deaths were exactly the same as Elder Benson's murder!

There were no weapons, no signs of struggle. The clean cuts on their dismembered limbs looked precisely as if they had been made by my ice blades. They lay on their beds, their heads rolled onto the floor.
