A suffocating tension filled the Forgotten Chamber. The warriors stood frozen, their eyes locked onto the figures before them—dark reflections of themselves. But these weren't just clones. They were twisted possibilities—warriors who had fallen to darkness, consumed by their worst desires.
Infinity God's reflection took a step forward, his coat shifting like a living entity. His eyes were devoid of mercy, filled only with endless power. "So… this is what I could become?" Infinity God muttered, his expression unreadable.
Galaxy God clenched his fists. His own dark reflection grinned back at him, a chaotic force of destruction. "Tch. If this is supposed to scare me, it's not working."
Aurora Yoichi, standing at the back, observed his reflection in silence. The dark version of himself looked different—his once radiant celestial aura now an abyss of cursed energy. His golden eyes had become black voids, empty yet endlessly deep.
The mysterious Faceless Entity, the being who summoned this trial, finally spoke.
"These are the warriors you will become… if you lose yourselves to power."
Infinity God narrowed his gaze. "And what happens if we refuse to fight?"
"Then they will consume you."
Without warning, the dark reflections attacked.
The Battle Against Themselves
Infinity God vs. Dark Infinity God
A blinding explosion of cosmic energy erupted as Infinity God barely dodged a devastating attack from his dark counterpart. Their fists clashed, sending shockwaves through the chamber. Each strike was equal—every move he made, his reflection countered.
"I see… you aren't just mimicking me," Infinity God muttered. "You are me."
Dark Infinity God smirked, his silver eyes gleaming. "Exactly. And that means you can't win."
Infinity God's mind raced. If this reflection knew everything he did, then brute force wouldn't be enough. He needed a new approach.
With a flicker of movement, he feinted a left punch—but at the last second, he did something he had never done before.
He hesitated.
Dark Infinity God, expecting a full-force attack, reacted too soon—and in that moment of imbalance, Infinity God exploited the opening, slamming his palm into his reflection's chest.
"Oblivion Force."
A shockwave of destruction erupted from his hand, blasting Dark Infinity God backward. The twisted reflection crashed against the chamber walls, his body flickering like a broken illusion.
Galaxy God vs. Dark Galaxy God
Meanwhile, Galaxy God faced his darkest possibility—a version of himself that had completely abandoned balance, embracing only destruction. His dark counterpart stood within a swirling black hole, gravity warping around him.
"You hold back," Dark Galaxy God sneered. "But why? Why restrain your power when you could erase entire star systems with a thought?"
Galaxy God smirked. "Because power without control is just chaos."
Dark Galaxy God roared, hurling a miniature collapsed star directly at him. But instead of dodging, Galaxy God reached out—and absorbed it.
His reflection's eyes widened. "What?!"
Galaxy God clenched his fist, his body radiating pure gravitational force. "You may be me, but you'll never surpass me." With a single punch, he collapsed his dark counterpart into a singularity, erasing him from existence.
Aurora Yoichi vs. Dark Aurora Yoichi
Aurora Yoichi had yet to move. He simply stood, staring at his dark reflection. The cursed version of himself tilted its head, as if waiting.
"You aren't attacking?" the dark version asked.
Aurora Yoichi smirked. "There's no need."
Dark Aurora Yoichi's eyes narrowed. "Arrogance will be your downfall."
Aurora Yoichi took a single step forward—and instantly, his dark reflection shattered.
The Faceless Entity gasped. Even it had not anticipated this outcome.
Galaxy God glanced over. "What the hell? You didn't even fight."
Aurora Yoichi sighed. "That wasn't me. It was just an illusion of what I 'could' become. But I've already walked through my own abyss." His golden eyes gleamed. "And I came out stronger."
End of the Trial?
The Faceless Entity studied the warriors, its unreadable form shifting. "Interesting. You have overcome your own darkness… but this was only the second test."
The chamber trembled. The walls began to disappear, revealing yet another unknown realm beyond.
Infinity God exhaled. "I had a feeling it wasn't over."
The Faceless Entity's voice echoed. "The next trial is not against yourselves, but against the ones you have left behind."
And suddenly—figures from their past began to emerge.
Their fallen comrades.
