David returned back to the mansion smiling widely at the thought of something. Selena greeted her and soon the Park family settled down to have dinner. Angelina, David's daughter would often steal glances at him and that didn't go unnoticed by David.
"You want to say something sweety?" David asked directing his attention towards her as he let go of the fork and knife from his hold. Selena grew anxious for, she had her own reasons to be afraid.
"Why did you get rid of Layla?" She asked in a tone filled with dissatisfaction.
"You are not happy?" He asked in a gentle tone although there was no way he would bring her back.
"I miss playing with her…" She said in a tone filled with sorrow but Selena knew what she meant by the term 'playing'. Earlier she couldn't refuse to let her daughter be treated badly as she was well aware of the twisted mindset of the father and daughter duo.
