The sound of Mikey's door shutting echoed softly in the air, a dull vibration that barely registered in his exhausted mind.
Battered and bruised, he strode forward with sluggish steps before collapsing onto his bed, his body landing with a dull thud. His limbs sprawled carelessly as he let out a weary exhale, his aching muscles protesting the movement.
His bruises from the brutal encounter with Son pulsed with sharp pain, but he ignored them, atleast as much as he could. His phone remained gripped in his hand, buzzing relentlessly.
