AMAYA'S POV
My eyes snapped open with a loud gasp. I breathed hard as the fog in my head slowly cleared. I quickly sat up from the bed I realized I was on and looked around me. I was not in the hospital but in our room.
Feeling confused, I glanced at the window and saw the sun was setting. I started to rack my brain for what happened. How was it that what I experienced was real, too real. I could still remember the pain was in, and what Ina had done to me. It was disheartening and confusing.
Why would such a thing happen to me and why would they believe I would do such a thing? It made no sense.
I groaned and got out of bed when I heard a knock on the main door. It was probably the servant with my food but after what happened just now, I was not hungry.
I left the bedroom and crossed the anteroom to the door. I opened it and smiled at the servant who was standing with the food cart.
"Good evening, Luna. Your dinner is ready."
"I'm not hungry. Take it back."
