Erina helped treat many of the wounded villagers after Leonhardt and Sylvie vanished into the forest. She understood how important it was to remove the root of a threat. However, being left out made her feel uncomfortable.
"Lady Erina are you right?"
A gentle old lady placed a small pot of piping hot tea down on the makeshift wooden table, the steam billowing through the narrow pot as it settled.
"I am fine, thank you. Grandma Grey... you've been too kind to help me when your husband was also wounded by the wolves."
The small village didn't have a dedicated doctor anymore, and those with first aid were the first targeted by the dark elves during their attack.
'Forgive me, Grandma Grey, this village is done for.'
Erina wanted to follow Leonhardt without issues.
But she struggled because she knew he wasn't a kind or gentle man well, at least when dealing with strangers. The kindness he showed to Asuka and their group made Erina struggle to refuse his request.
