Naruto's chakra and form vanished once again.
Obito Uchiha: "Damn it! He's using that cursed technique again! But as long as he's inside this barrier, he's just a rat in a trap!"
Through his unique communication technique, Obito reached out to Tobi (Zetsu): "Tobi, come closer to me."
Tobi replied in his usual sing-song tone, "Muri-muri~ Muri~ [No, no~ I can't~]. He's marked me with his Flying Thunder God. If I get too close, he'll use it to appear right next to me~!"
Obito: "Move within 20 meters of me. I'll remove the mark for you."
"Understood," Tobi complied.
By now, the mist within the barrier had mostly dispersed, leaving the battlefield clear and unobstructed.
Obito focused his left eye on the marked part of Tobi's body and activated Kamui.

The portion of Tobi's body that bore the mark was severed and absorbed into the dimensional void.
"Done."
Tobi returned to Obito's side, wielding his twin blades, Hiramekarei. Meanwhile, Obito retrieved the Gunbai Uchiwa (war fan) from his back. Chains extended from his sleeves, connecting to the fan's handle, allowing him to manipulate it with greater range and flexibility.
Through his Sage Mode sensory abilities, Naruto observed their every move, analyzing the situation.
Naruto's thoughts: "Based on my observations so far, I've determined that Obito's left eye Kamui has a maximum range of about 100 meters. This is longer than Kakashi-sensei's 80-meter limit but shorter than Sasuke's Rinnegan's Amenotejikara ability, which had a 150-meter range. Therefore, maintaining a 120-meter distance should keep me safe from his ocular jutsu."
Of course, I can't rule out the possibility that he deliberately had Tobi move closer before using Kamui to mislead me. After all, he knows I can sense him.
"So, while 120 meters might not be the theoretical safe distance, 150 meters definitely is. It's a simple principle: the Mangekyō Sharingan's range cannot surpass that of the Rinnegan."

Naruto reappeared exactly 150 meters away from Obito, intentionally baiting him to attack and reveal his physical form.

Naruto's thoughts continued: "Of course, he could use his right eye's Kamui to close the distance and enter my effective range. But within this barrier, I've placed hundreds of Flying Thunder God kunai at varying distances. I can relocate at any moment. So, what will you do, Obito?"
Behind his white mask, Obito's lips curled into a smirk. "You're underestimating me."

Obito focused his left eye on a point 30 meters in front of Naruto.

A Kamui vortex began spinning in reverse—counterclockwise instead of its usual clockwise motion.
"My left eye, just like my right, isn't limited to absorption. It can also release."
Boom!!!
From the vortex emerged a Tailed Beast Bomb, launched straight at Naruto. With the bomb's massive diameter, the 20-meter gap between the vortex and Naruto was closed in an instant.
Naruto's eyes widened in astonishment. "He can do that?!"

The explosion from the Tailed Beast Bomb obliterated the ground where Naruto had been standing.

At the last moment, Naruto teleported to another location using Flying Thunder God. His hands moved in a blur, forming seals.
"Sage Art: Amphibian Water Blade!"

A highly compressed, high-pressure water blade sliced through the ground, hurtling toward Obito.

The Kamui vortex that had released the Tailed Beast Bomb closed, and Obito immediately entered his intangibility mode.
Obito's thoughts darkened. "So, he intentionally revealed himself to bait me into attacking, then used Flying Thunder God to reposition and counterattack with a long-range Sage Technique, aiming to catch me during the brief moment I materialize. Clever."
Obito's voice grew cold. "I'm starting to lose patience."

The black chakra of Susano'o erupted around him, forming a skeletal frame. Muscles wrapped around the bones, partially transforming it into its second stage.

A pitch-black magatama appeared in Susano'o's hand.
"This is the divine weapon Kamui Magatama. It will shatter all your hopes."
Tobi's voice was low. "Are you sure about this? Hashirama's cells can only ensure one of your eyes doesn't go blind. If you keep pushing both eyes like this, you won't last much longer."
Obito's tone was resolute. "My eyes don't matter. Only reclaiming the Rinnegan and completing the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan does."
Swish!
Susano'o drew back its arm, preparing to hurl the magatama.
Obito muttered, "This ends now."
Whoosh!
The magatama spun rapidly, hurtling toward Naruto.
Naruto's eyes narrowed. "A ranged attack similar to the Kamui Shuriken? Let's see how this works."
He quickly formed a Rasenshuriken and launched it to intercept the magatama.

However, the collision he expected never occurred. The two attacks passed through each other, completely unaffected.
Naruto was stunned. "What?!"
Obito explained, "The magatama can phase through attacks. Interception is futile."
Naruto's left eye focused sharply.
"Shinra Tensei!"
Whoosh!
A burst of repulsive force erupted, but the magatama ignored the force field entirely.

Naruto teleported to another location using Flying Thunder God.
Whoosh!
The magatama adjusted its trajectory, relentlessly pursuing him.
Naruto's expression grew grim. "A homing attack?!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
He teleported repeatedly, but no matter where he went, the magatama followed.
Sweat dripped down Naruto's face. "This is bad… really bad."
Back in Amegakure, Konan and Mei Terumi watched the battle through a Telescope Technique. Both were on edge.
The magatama closed in.
Crackle!
A surge of purple lightning enveloped Naruto's body. His spiky blond hair stood on end, transforming into sharp, golden spikes.
"Purple Lightning Chakra Mode: Stage 2!"
Obito's voice was icy. "It's useless. As long as you're within this barrier, there's no escape."
Crackle!
In a flash of lightning, Naruto charged toward the edge of the barrier, his eyes blazing with determination. "This barrier can withstand Tailed Beast Bomb-level attacks without breaking. But that's because the damage is distributed across its entire surface. If I focus all my power on a single point…"
As he sprinted, a Rasengan formed in his left hand. Purple lightning surged into it, altering both its nature and shape. The sphere extended into a four-foot-long spiraling blade.
"Thunder Spiral Sword!"

The barrier began to fracture.
Obito growled, "Don't even think about it!"
The magatama closed in on Naruto's back.
"Just a little more!!" Naruto roared, pouring all his strength into the attack.
Crack!!!
The barrier shattered, creating a small hole just large enough for a person to pass through. With the barrier compromised, the restrictions on Flying Thunder God were nullified.
Whoosh!
At the very last moment, Naruto teleported back to Amegakure, narrowly avoiding the magatama.
The magatama hovered in the air, unable to find its target.
Obito stared in disbelief. "Even that wasn't enough to kill him?"
Tobi hesitated. "He's probably back in Amegakure. Shouldn't we call it a day?"
Obito's gaze hardened. "No. We're going to Amegakure. Now!"
