With that, everyone agreed to help John fulfill his wish.
Soon, John piloted the plane and followed Mai and Shu to Pilaf's castle.
Seeing that the plane that had taken their Dragon Balls had landed at the castle, John chose a flat spot nearby and landed the plane.
John said to the group, "Let's go and meet the person who has been hiding in the shadows and stealing our Dragon Balls."

John and his group waited until nightfall, and just as they were starting to doubt John's plan, a blue-skinned dwarf, a woman, and a dog emerged from the castle.

Pilaf opened the box, and the seven Dragon Balls scattered on the grass in front of the castle.
John said to Goku and Yamcha, "Let's go. The enemy is out. We'll each take one of them, defeat them, and get the Dragon Balls back."
With that, John led the charge towards Pilaf and his group.
As Pilaf summoned the Dragon God, dark clouds gathered in the sky, blocking out the stars and the moon. Only the seven Dragon Balls shone with a bright light.
John said, "We must hurry. The Dragon God is about to appear." As he spoke, the seven Dragon Balls on the ground emitted a blinding flash of lightning towards the sky.
A huge dragon-shaped creature rose from the Dragon Balls, swirling and twisting in the sky before finally transforming into a massive dragon above the castle.
Everyone present knew that the Dragon Balls could summon the Dragon God, but they were still shocked by the dragon's size and the awe it inspired.
Goku and Yamcha stood frozen, not knowing what to do.
John, however, was not as surprised, having seen the Dragon God many times in the original storyline. He knew that in the later parts of the story, the Dragon God would serve the Z Warriors and grant their wishes without any dignity.
So, John was both amazed and quickly snapped out of his awe, waking Goku and Yamcha and saying, "Let's go!"
Goku and Yamcha snapped out of their trance and followed John towards Pilaf.
Fortunately, Pilaf was still in awe of the Dragon God's power and hadn't recovered from the shock.
The Dragon God slowly descended from the sky, and its majestic voice echoed, "Did you summon me?"
"Yes, I summoned the Dragon God," Pilaf replied.
The Dragon God continued, "Speak your wish, and I will grant it, no matter what it is. But only one wish!"
Pilaf was thrilled, imagining himself as the new ruler of the world, a king to be revered by all. His body trembled with excitement.
Mai, seeing that her king was taking too long to make his wish, reminded him, "King Pilaf, speak your wish."
Pilaf turned to Mai, then to Shu, seeing encouragement in their eyes. He calmed down and faced the Dragon God, saying, "I... I..." But before he could finish, he was kicked away by John, who had rushed over from a distance.
Mai and Shu were startled and were about to counterattack when they were knocked away by Goku and Yamcha, who had followed John.
The Dragon God paid no attention to the commotion and asked, "Have you decided on your wish? Speak it now!"
John stood before the Dragon God and took a deep breath. Then, he said loudly, "I wish for my body to be transformed into the most suitable body for a Saiyan, but without a tail."
"This wish is easy to grant!" The Dragon God's eyes flashed red.
Instantly, John's body transformed from slightly chubby to muscular, with defined chest and abdominal muscles.
His once chubby face became chiseled, changing from a fat man to a man with a square jaw. He wasn't particularly handsome, but he had a strong, manly appearance.
