Celestine's Ghost was certainly concerning, but as I reminded Mira, we had the quarterfinal to go through before we would need to face her. Mira asked around the students to get some idea about our upcoming opponent, and when she heard the name Tinat she winced and facepalmed. I had no idea what it was but it certainly seemed to be bad news for us.
We just can't get a break, can we?
"So what is a Tinat?"
I asked her over the dinner table. We decided to treat ourselves to better lumps of bread than what we usually eat. It was a celebration of a sort after the emotionally draining match against the Blind Fox we had earlier in the day.
"It's considered as one of the primordial monsters."
"Meaning?"
"It's been around forever, like, it's a borderline mythical creature that we don't encounter often, if ever at all, these days."
"What does it do?"
"The attacks are simple. Just the usual melee fight."
