"Something? Someone? "Luca insisted, his voice low and threatening. "What exactly do you mean?""

The goddess's eyes flicked with great melancholy. "Betrayal helped to generate the curse. Unmake it only with a comparable deed.

Aria's thoughts flew as her chest clenched. "You're suggesting we have to betray someone?''

"To save the pack," the goddess murmured quietly. One of you has to be voluntarily abandoned.
