HELLO PEOPLE NEW CHAPTER SORRY FOR THE DELAY BUT IT ARRIVED SEND STONES OF POWER.
I THINK IT'S OBVIOUS WHO WAS CHOSEN, I'M NOT GOOD AT WRITING ROMANCE BUT I'M LEARNING IF YOU WANT TO TELL ME WHERE I WENT WRONG I'LL BE HAPPY TO RECEIVE CRITICISM.
In the Hokage's office, Kakashi and Obito were chatting with the calm that only two old friends could share. The light of the sunset streamed through the windows, illuminating the room with warm tones.
—Kakashi, I want to ask you something —said Obito, breaking the silence.
—Go ahead —replied Kakashi, leaning on his desk with a relaxed expression.
—What happened to my eye? I want to use the Sharingan again. The Rinnegan, though powerful, is too much of a burden for me. I don't want to live with that weight anymore. I hope you can help me —said Obito sincerely, looking at Kakashi with a mix of hope and nostalgia.
Kakashi watched him for a moment, then walked over to a shelf in the office. He opened a drawer and pulled out a jar containing a familiar eye.
—I was waiting for you to ask —said Kakashi, holding the jar carefully—. I would never destroy something that doesn't belong to me, Obito. Here's your Sharingan. But I have a question.
—Go ahead —replied Obito, reaching out to take the jar.
—What will you do with the Rinnegan? The village has Madara's Rinnegan. I didn't expect you to want to get rid of yours.
Obito smiled faintly, putting the jar in his pocket.
—Don't worry. It won't be safer anywhere else than with me. No one can enter my dimension. I'll take care of it and make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands —Obito assured, firmly.
Kakashi nodded, trusting his old friend's words.
—Alright, Obito. Thanks for all the help you gave us on the moon.
—It's the least I could do, after everything I caused —replied Obito, with a tone of regret—. Well, Kakashi, I'll see you soon. Goodbye.
As Obito left the Hokage's office, he was about to use his Kamui when a voice stopped him.
—Hey, wait! —shouted Ino Yamanaka, running toward him with a bright smile.
Obito stopped, surprised by her appearance.
—Hi, Obito —said Ino, with a mix of politeness and shyness—. I haven't seen you in a while. I heard you were released. How are you?
—Do you want to come with me for a moment?—
Obito hesitated for a moment, looking around as if remembering he wasn't exactly welcome in the village.
—Hi, Ino. Sorry for not letting you know earlier. Thank you so much for everything you did for me while I was imprisoned. I'm sorry, but I can't walk around the village with you. I don't need to tell you I'm not exactly liked here. Well, in the whole world, actually. People hate me.
Ino pouted, playing with her hair.
—Don't worry, it's just for a moment. Please —she said, with a pleading look that Obito couldn't resist.
Obito sighed, giving in to her insistence.
—Alright. Where do you want to go? I'll take us there. I don't want people shouting at me in the village again.
—Let's go to the Konoha cemetery —said Ino, with a calm smile.
When they arrived at the cemetery, Ino guided Obito to a nearby grave. The atmosphere was peaceful, with the sound of the wind rustling through the trees.
—This is my father's grave —said Ino, pointing to the tombstone with a mix of sadness and affection.
Obito, not fully understanding why she had brought him there, began to feel nervous. Damn, I thought she had forgiven me, he thought, worried he had done something wrong.
—I wanted you to see this because... I've already accepted your apologies, and I'm sure my father would have too —said Ino, with a soft but firm voice.
Obito nodded, but suddenly his body began to move on its own, as if guided by an invisible force. He walked toward another nearby grave, stopping in front of a tombstone that read: "Rin Nohara".
—Rin... —murmured Obito, tears beginning to stream down his cheek.
Ino looked at him, confused but compassionate.
—Hey, what's wrong? Why did you run off? —she asked, stepping closer to him.
Obito wiped his tears with the back of his hand, trying to compose himself.
—I don't understand it either —he said, his voice trembling—. It seems Obito's feelings are too strong. I can't help it.
Ino looked at Rin's grave, slowly understanding.
—Rin Nohara... Is she the reason you did all of that? —asked Ino, in a soft but inquisitive tone.
Obito didn't answer right away. He stood there, staring at the grave, feeling the pain he still carried inside. Slowly, the sorrow began to fade, as if simply being there was healing him.
—I'm sorry, Ino —he finally said—. I didn't mean to disrespect your father's grave. My body just moved on its own.
Ino smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder.
—It's okay, don't worry —she said, with a warmth that surprised Obito.
—She's the person I once loved... and the only one —Obito confessed, with a sigh.
—The only one? —asked Ino, raising an eyebrow—. Aren't you going to try to love again?
Obito looked at the horizon, as if searching for answers in the sky.
—I doubt anyone could feel something for someone like me —he said, with a tone of resignation—. Everything I've done in this world is unforgivable. I'm grateful for what you've done for me.
As Obito began to walk away, Ino called out to him again.
—I'm right here! —said Ino, with a shy smile and a slight blush on her cheeks.
Obito stopped, looking at her in surprise. For the first time in a long time, he felt something in his heart begin to change.
