The giant spider walked away from the cave, moving through living trees and bushes without causing too much damage.
They sighed in relief.
Ash said to Maya while picking up the gallon filled with gasoline, "Wait here, I'll be back soon." Maya nodded.
Then he turned to Jagu and said through his mental command, "Guard Maya until I return."
Jagu whined, he seemed wanting to follow Ash but didn't dare to disobey.
Ash activated his Shadow Dance skill, then left the small cave and walked into the giant spider's nest cave. He moved quickly into the central part of the cave.
Once inside, he turned on his flashlight and looked around the nest.
His eyes widened as he saw that there were many giant spider eggs and webs everywhere.
"This is crazy," he muttered.
Without waiting any longer, he splashed the gasoline he brought onto the eggs, using half the amount in the gallon.
Then he walked to the entrance of the nest and lit a fire at a twig, throwing it onto the eggs. The flames quickly spread, burning everything in the nest.
Ash then left the nest and splashed gasoline around the large hollow at the cave junction, and quickly exited the cave.
He returned to where Maya and Jagu were waiting and waited for the giant spider to return to its nest.
After waiting for about two hours, the spider returned to its nest.
Ash immediately followed it from behind and hid when the giant spider began to enter the hollow.
He saw the spider roar upon finding its eggs burned, with remnants of the fire still smoldering in its nest.
Ash stealthily ignited the gasoline he had splashed around the hollow, then half-ran towards the exit.
The fire quickly spread, burning the entire floor, dry leaves, and branches, and also engulfed the giant spider.
The spider roared and tried to escape the flames.
But Ash had already opened his Supreme Magus' Grimoire and began chanting his spell.
"Vinculum animae et corpus in folio!"
The giant spider seemed to be sucked into the grimoire, its large body turning into black smoke and disappearing as it touched the pages.
Ash panted as he closed the grimoire.
His plan had worked. Now, he just needed to figure out how to extract the Magic Ring from the spider's body.
He returned to their hiding cave.
"Did you get it?" Maya asked excitedly.
Ash nodded and replied, "I managed to trap the spider in the grimoire, but now I need to find a way to get it out."
Maya tilted her head and asked, "Into the grimoire?"
"Yes. I found out yesterday that I can use the Grimoire to store any creatures in it, and then can summon them to fight my enemies," Ash answered.
"Woooow, does that mean you can have your own army?" asked Maya with amazement.
"Yes," Ash nodded. "It's a pretty cool skill."
Maya grinned. "You have Jagu and now you have that Giant Spider. Totally cool." She lifted her thumb to Ash.
"Haha, but I haven't figured out how to summon it after it went into the Grimoire. I will learn how to do it now." He said.
"Okay. Take your time. Perhaps me and Jagu will take a stroll outside, meanwhile checking our vehicle."
Maya walked outside their hiding spot with Jagu, to the direction of their jeep.
Left alone, Ash took a soda can from his inventory, drinked its content, and called his Stat window.

'I see, to store the creature into the Grimoire took ten magic points,' he thought.
He closed his Stat window, and called his Inventory window, then took out The Supreme Magus' Grimoire.
He opened the page explaining about the summoning and the attack skill, and studied it.
Not long after, he got up and walked back to the bigger cave.
The fire had died down, leaving ashes all over the hollow. The choking air by the animal wastes now replaced by the burning smell.
Ash opened his Grimoire, and opened the page which he used to store the Giant Spider.
Inhaling, he chanted, "Liberare animae et corpus ex folio."
The Grimoire pages turned on his own, and stopped on a particular page. A black smoke emerged from its page, heading to the hollow.
The black smoke swirled, forming a Giant Spider once more.
The Spider didn't make a sound or made any movement. It was just standing there, with his lifeless eyes directed to Ash.
Ash shivered. The Giant Spider towered above him a few meters, and still gave off a chilling aura.
Steeling himself, Ash chanted another incantation, "Obedio".
The Giant Spider didn't move an inch. Ash tilted his head to the side.
Then he tried to command it, "Give me the Magic Ring stored in your body."
Its belly suddenly moved. Its movement was like someone—or a creature—who was about to vomit.
And it happened. The Giant Spider let out a disgusting liquid out of its mouth.
The liquid smelled awful. Ash tried as hard as he could not to vomit due to its smell.
But he couldn't stand it, and he also vomited.
"F*cking sh*t," he cursed after finishing his vomiting session.
With trembling hands, he took a twig from nearby, and walked toward the spider's vomit.
He rummaged through the vomit and finally found the magic ring.
Still holding the end of the twig, his nose wrinkled at the ring, then went outside to clean the ring with water from a small crevice outside the cave.
After it was clean, he rolled it on the ground a few times to eliminate the foul stench of vomit.
He took the ring, and the system window appeared before his eyes.

"Finally. I don't have to kill that Spider, instead I have him as my personal army," he grinned happily.
Walking back into the cave, he found that the Giant Spider still stood where it was.
Ash observed its body carefully. He circled it, and then nodded approvingly.
Opening his Grimoire, he chanted the Giant Spider to enter into the book again.
