They descended and landed right in front of Drogo Castle, sending the common folk fleeing in fear at the sight of Roc. However, the soldiers guarding the main gate and those in the watchtower immediately recognized the giant eagle. Some of them approached without hesitation.
With respect, they bowed to Ash and greeted him, "Welcome back, Sir Ash. It's good to see you again."
They echoed their greetings, and Ash, having dismissed his giant bird, returned their salute with a respectful bow.
Maya, watching everything, was a bit taken aback because she had no idea what Ash's position there was. The soldiers' respectful welcome made her even more curious.
She also noticed Jagu strolling leisurely into the castle through the main gate, as if it were his own home. Strangely, none of the locals seemed afraid of him; instead, they called out to him and even petted him.
