Perseus POV -
Right now we are standing on the Bifrost. By we I means My Father, Mother, Siblings, Skadi, Zoe, Anna, Frejya and I. We have already completed our work here and now we are leaving for Vanaheim.
Although I am the King of Vanaheim but this is the first time I am going there. So all my family came to wish me Good bye. After claiming my new domains there was a small celebration among the family and Father said that he will personally see us off.
Well even though claiming of new domains was kept between family but this news was not a secret. So by the next morning or should I say today's morning everyone in Asgard knew about it. They are acting like it is some great achievement so I asked father and he said that a God only get new domains in two conditions. First - after rigorous training or Second - when he truly changes his behavior.
And both of them were really difficult. Let's not talk about the first one but a God changing his behaviour is almost impossible. Father said if it was possible then Ares would not have killed his own Father. A God is forever bound to his domains. And changing his behavior means abdicting his domain.
So what I did was a big achievement. Well forget it. Right now we were about to leave and Father said,'' Remember Make sure to put a protective shield around your head. The air of that place is poisonous. It may not be able to kill a God but it can very well endanger you.''
Anna said,'' Lord Odin...''
But before she can continue Odin interrupted, '' Father. When we are not in the formal places then like my childrens there wifes will also call me Father. Ok''
Anna smiled and said, ''Father while it can endanger us but not Percy. His Armor and earrings does not allow any substance to harm him. It neither allows any harmful things to hurt him nor spiritually control him. So don't worry.''
Father said,'' I know his Armor is mystic but you three do not have that support so be careful.''
Anna nods her head but then mother said,'' Percy? Why did you call him percy.''
Anna looked like a cat that is caught. She very meekly said,'' We call him that. Perseus is rather long and intimedating. So we call him percy among ourselves.'' I have never seen Anna like this. At least not in this life.
'' Percy'' my mother said like she is testing the name on her tongue. The she nods her head,'' Good from now I will also call you that. Percy.''
Then we bid them all farewell. I hugged my mother. She said,'' Good luck my child. The journey ahead will be difficult one. Being a king is a hard job. But believe in yourself and stay true to yourself and I know you will be a great King.''
I thanked her and then went towards my father. He said,'' Remember when you sit on your throne your first duty is for the people. Even before your family. Do not disappoint them. You love them and they will respect you.''
I said, ''I will remember it Father. I will try my best.''
It did not take us long to arrive at our destination. I think it only took us less then 5 seconds to get here from Asgard. Before the light of Bifrost left Anna said,'' Dora put a protective shield around us.''
Dora is the name of her backpack. No no I mean her Mother Box. I still do not why did she name her Mother box dora. Dora was an cartoon in my childhood. And I particularly wasn't a big fan of that cartoon. Maybe she liked it. Just like her Dora's backpack has everything of need. So maybe she find a connection with her. Before I can continue Anna brought me back to physical world.
She said,'' You can continue thinking about the name later but first look ahead. We arrived at our Kingdom.''
Zoe said,'' This is not a Kingdom. This is hell. ''
And she is not far from the truth. What is infront of us really does look like hell. Even Underworld was not this horrific. The sky here is black or something I don't know because we can't even see it. There is fog so thick that we can't even see ten feet ahead of us. So we can't describe what it is look like. All I see is black.
Anna asked,'' Sister Frejya what was Vanaheim like before this happened?''
There were tears in Frejya eyes. She must have remembered the day all this happened. I went forward and hugged her. She cried in my arms for sometime. Then I wiped her tears and said,'' Don't worry. I promise you if the person who did this is alive then you will be the one to punish him. I will bring him in front of you on hin kness. You have my word. My Queen''
She smiled and kissed me. After our lips parted she said,'' Thank you My King.'' Then she turned towards Anna and Zoe said,'' Vanaheim was beautiful. We did not have the magnificence of Asgard. We did not have big buildings but we were always closer to nature. Well Vanir Gods were the Nature Gods. We did not like war. Mainly we practice magic for everything.
Vanaheim could be devided into two parts. If we divide it into five sections then Three section of it was water and two section was land. There were many kinds of aquatic animal lived in the waters. We lived a peaceful well mostly peaceful. We have festivals centered around nature and some competitions and tournaments.
There was a big building in middle just like Asgard. But unlike Asgard whose building is made of Gold this building was mostly made of nature elements and silver. You can call me baised but I think our was more beautiful. We did not have so many customs like Asgard. But people still respected us. We also have our army not a very big one like Asgard but a small one. It's main responsibility is to maintain order among peoples.'' Then she looked at them and said,'' You both would have liked it. We had a big library to read and a jungle full of dangerous animals to hunt.''
After she stopped I said,''Don't worry we will build it again and better then last time. We promise.''
