After Magnus' group was decided, the traffic within the crowd slowed immediately.
Within minutes, the rest of the groups were created. Since their expectations were humbled, they were more willing to accept anyone who they deemed to be somewhat decent.
In the end, ten nearly even teams were made, with the exception of one team having only four.
Everyone stood on one side of the arena as Bao Huxin controlled the center—walking back and forth again as he shouted into the air, "On this side, there are five spirit testing machines and five punch power testing machines. Along with that, there is a single elevated chiseled stone platform. All of this equipment makes sense to you if you have even half a brain."
Everyone looked at each other with slightly surprised looks after Bao's aggressive speech. But, they were to expect this, and they knew it in the back of their heads.
This guy was a veteran Hunter. Who knows how many traumatic experiences crafted his rough tone?
"Before we begin, give me all of your group names!" Bao shouted toward the groups, pausing.
Every group of five was lined up beside each other to form a row. Many groups looked at their members with narrowed eyelids, their pupils dancing with confusion.
"Names?"
"We needed to make names?"
"What should it be?"
"Uh... jeez! This is abrupt."
But some groups seemed to already have it all figured out, smirking at each other or standing confidently with their group name already decided.
Sin's group was clueless at first as well. No one seemed to have a clue, including the girl who was holding Magnus' knee before. (She was kicked away by Magnus and now is 25 feet away from every group.)
Even though she was that far, her clueless eyes were a dead giveaway that she wasn't smart in quick thinking either.
Sin had observed all this and then looked at Magnus, who was in the middle.
'From the start of that question, this guy closed his eyes and he still hasn't opened them.' Sin noted Magnus' weird move.
"Forget about the names..." Dreli's voice broke Sin's train of thought.
Sin looked over at the young noble as Dreli shook with anger.
"Oi... don't think you've gotten away with anything." He suddenly walked up to Sin, "You're dead, you piece of shit. Say your prayers."
Sin furrowed his brows, 'This motherfucker wants it bad,' He couldn't help but tighten his fists subconsciously.
Dreli continued, "The moment this exam ends, I'll break your bones and have you begging to be put out of your misery. But right now, you have to pay a small fine to lessen my anger. A punch will do... straight to the face."
"You aren't going to do that." Sin rapidly replied with a stone-cold look in his eyes.
Dreli scoffed, "Just try to stop me." He said with a smirk, his hand already curled into a fist and traveling toward Sin's face.
Sin immediately noticed the immense speed and force behind the punch, 'He's serious,' He thought as he lifted his hand as fast as he could. He didn't want to fight, but if Dreli was going to punch him, he wasn't just going to stand there and hold back.
If it was going to go down... it was going to go down his way.
Sin's hand moved significantly faster than Dreli's, closing twice the distance of Dreli's punch in half the time as he aimed for the noble's nose again.
Sin's devastating punch came mere inches away from Dreli's face when he abruptly saw a blur of a figure summon in front of his eyes.
That blur instantly materialized into Magnus' body, his hands stopping both Dreli and Sin's punches.
Sin's eyes widened with shock.
"I've got it!" Magnus' voice rang.
Dreli gasped slightly with shock, not expecting Magnus to suddenly show up, 'This fucker... he stopped my punch with so much ease.'
Sin had a blurt of disbelief shroud his mind, 'Fast... this guy... he got here so fast that I saw a blur of his afterimage in front of my eyes...'
"I've thought of the name of this group." Magnus exclaimed with a slight snicker.
Sin stared at Magnus as if he was some sort of anomaly, 'THAT'S WHY HE WAS CLOSING HIS EYES THE ENTIRE TIME!?'
Magnus exhaled deeply, his eye narrowing thoughtfully. 'Dreli's face already looks like it's taken a beating. If that punch landed... it would've done permanent damage—maybe even killed him. I doubt Sin deserves the kind of penalty that comes with that. Unless he's the one responsible for the damage Dreli's already sporting... but the odds of that being true? Slim to none.'
"Okay! Your team, give me your name!" Bao Huxin began demanding names at that moment.
Sin's was at the last, so he listened to the other ones while waiting.
"Ours is 'Team 100%'"
"Team Fortune!"
"Searchers Of Wonderland!"
"Divinity!"
"Monstrous!"
"BTD: Blood Thirsty Demons!"
"Maximum Velocity!"
"Victory!"
"Passing Is The Only Option!"
And finally, Bao asked Sin's group the same question.
"Your team name?"
Magnus closed his eyes with pride as he exclaimed: "The name of my team is: 'My Team Is The Most Superior, So If You Are In Another Team, You Are An Inferior Peasant Who Doesn't Even Deserve To Kiss My Feet... You Loathsome Peasant Weakling Scum!'"
Everyone's jaws were on the floor. Including Bao Huxin, who was currently thinking, 'Quite the name...'
