"Please... Sin. Don't make this harder than it has to be." Kael's expression was as nonchalant as could be.
He was clearly trying to mask all of his emotions with a front. But all that this told Sin was that Kael was still struggling internally. Still, that didn't matter anymore.
He had made his choice. He was now Sin's mortal enemy, since he decided to stand in Sin's way.
"What do you expect me to do? Let you kill me? What sort of pathetic loser do you think I am?" Sin slammed his fist against his palm so loudly that it echoed through the entire chamber and sent a small gust of wind outwards.
Kael furrowed his eyebrows as Sin continued speaking: "As long as I can move... I will make sure I won't lose." He said again, reaffirming this to himself and everyone else on the battlefield.
Kael couldn't help but increase his respect and admiration for Sin with every second that passed.
