Seeing that this was the chance to curb the influence of the Empire and bring down the power and authority of the Seven Gods, they attacked.
In the later pages, Elfenheim, Mount Cragdor, Duskrun Expanse, and several other demi human nations from rival states had become belligerents.
What had started as a foreign invasion quickly became something far larger. A continent wide war.
And so, from every direction, human territories burned. Faced with annihilation from all sides, the Empire called upon every allied kingdom and human nation. Together they formed a united front.
This was the beginning of the First Epoch War. A war between humans, demi humans, and dragons.
The diary did not describe the war in detail, only that it would go on for a very long time.
The tone of the diary became hollow as years passed, until the writing stopped altogether. Reinhardt slowly closed the diary.
