Chapter 75 - Volume 2 Chapter 18: Super Artificial Intelligence

A second wave of machines?

As Godzilla advanced into the inland of Australia, just as it was preparing to move up along the Great Dividing Range and bypass the surrounding forests,

a slight vibration came from the distant horizon.

Godzilla saw them again.

Robots surrounded it from all directions, and this time their numbers were even greater, numbering in the millions, converging on Godzilla.

From the sky, they swooped down from an altitude of ten thousand meters, and on the ground, they surged from the western forest and the northeastern mountains of the Great Dividing Range.

Like an marching ant army, these robots simultaneously launched an assault on Godzilla from various directions. Millions, tens of millions.

What exactly were they trying to do?

Godzilla couldn't understand the intentions of these robots. Were they prepared to consume its breath?

But didn't humans know that they were already useless?

It couldn't comprehend why this group of little robots kept coming wave after wave to their deaths,

but that didn't prevent it from destroying them all.

Dorsal fin lasers and tail beams swept through the forest and the sky above it.

The powerful breath destroyed the eastern mountains.

While destroying these robots, Godzilla continued to advance along the Great Dividing Range.

This group of robots didn't cause it any trouble; Godzilla destroyed them as it advanced.

While countering the robots, Godzilla also avoided the projectiles from the railguns. This was probably the only thing that caused it trouble.

After the soldiers stationed at the railguns evacuated, Godzilla could no longer locate them through human radar.

Previously, it could use human radar to find humans and know the locations of their railguns through them.

To achieve the goal of hitting the target as soon as it entered its range.

But now.

After piercing through the southeastern mountains, it learned that the humans who found the railguns useless had all evacuated, leaving only the most basic artificial intelligence to maintain them.

And railguns operated solely by artificial intelligence were more troublesome than when humans were there.

At least when they didn't fire, their positions were unknown to Godzilla. Godzilla didn't have a satellite positioning system.

The vast army of robots distracted Godzilla's attention, and then they used railguns to snipe at Godzilla.

Under the all-encompassing coordination of artificial intelligence, the power of this operation far exceeded the operations planned by humans.

But it was still useless.

How many times stronger was the command of artificial intelligence compared to human command?

1.5 times? 2 times? More.

2.5 times? 3 times? Perhaps?

3.5 times? 4 times? That would be considered a lot.

No matter how high you calculate, the command of artificial intelligence and human command still did not show an order of magnitude difference.

Even if the most extreme algorithms were used, the trouble caused by the artificial intelligence command to Godzilla was only four or five times greater than when it was in the Far East.

And now, how much stronger is Godzilla compared to that time?

Size, weight, body strength, breath...

Probably 20 times, 30 times are conservative estimates.

So, there's no problem at all!

The railguns aimed at Godzilla, and robots surrounded it from all directions.

In response, Godzilla's movement was...

Its legs accumulated strength, and Godzilla jumped for the first time after completing its evolution!

Its massive 14 million-ton body, under Godzilla's ultimate strength, jumped into the high sky, reaching two to three kilometers.

Godzilla floated in the sky, and its 400-meter-high colossal body descended at a speed that could only be described as "slow."

Isn't gravity acceleration constant?

Having jumped into the sky, Godzilla naturally saw the scenery on the horizon. It noted the positions of the railguns. Then, with one hand, it grabbed a nearby mountain, using it as a cushion for landing.

Next was the targeting time.

Using its tail and dorsal fins to clear the robots trying to get close, Godzilla focused on destroying these human creations.

The railguns were crushed one by one by Godzilla. If humanity's plan relied solely on railguns, it would be a huge disappointment for Godzilla.

After annihilating the last railgun in the mountains in front of it, Godzilla also destroyed all the robots in this wave of attacks.

Next, it only needed to advance along the edge of the Australian basin to reach the first super metropolitan area established by humanity in the inland of Australia.

Unfortunately, the humans in that super metropolitan area had already fled.

But it didn't matter. As long as each metropolitan area was pushed over, one day, humans would surely be annihilated by it.

Godzilla was very sure of this.

Advancing along the edge of the basin, Godzilla saw many things along the way.

It found that the distribution of plants in the Australian region was better than in the Far East.

There were more varieties of trees here, and in addition to the basic green, there were also various small bushes.

The vitality here was thicker than in the Far East.

Seeing this, Godzilla was very happy, even though it didn't have much to do with it.

But it was still very happy. As long as it could see more life on this land, its mood would continue to be good.

Godzilla strolled on the plains of Australia. It didn't walk fast but instead took the time to appreciate nature.

Although there were no animals, although it was desolate, in this nature, there were still many lives striving to survive.

Thinking about it, Godzilla thought of the two waves of robots that attacked it before.

To be honest, those robots didn't feel like machines to it; they felt more like some kind of life.

It had seen robots created by humans in its natural memories. Most of them were extremely rigid, devoid of any vitality.

However, this group of attackers was different. They possessed a certain vitality. Rather than saying they were purely machines, they were more like a kind of—

Mechanical life.

Godzilla's breath carried a strong electromagnetic pulse, even the most advanced human weapons would be burned by the powerful electromagnetic pulse.

But not these machines. They were not like ordinary robots at all; they were more like some kind of—

Mechanical life.

Was this an illusion?

Godzilla was pondering this. Meanwhile, in a circular formation centered around Godzilla, millions of robots gathered once again.

They launched a death charge against Godzilla once again. Although Godzilla didn't notice them until they were within 20 kilometers because they were too small,

this distance was already insurmountable for them.

Mouth breath released, dorsal fin lasers crisscrossed, and tail beams swept through.

The front robots were destroyed by the terrifying shock almost completely.

As for those behind them.

Did they only lose a small part?

The robots jumped up.

Right at the moment when Godzilla swung its tail.

They jumped up.

Life evolves.

...
