Flain stood up and started walking through the city again, pondering what that encounter meant for him. Athrylith had said he wouldn't help him, but he hadn't ruled out the possibility of harming him either.
'I won't interfere with your journey in any way. I might visit you sometimes, but that's all,' Athrylith's voice echoed in Flain's head.
So, the only thing that changed was that some ultra-powerful being would be bothering him, but otherwise, nothing. Flain was fine with that—at the very least, he might be able to get some information from him when he decided to talk, though he doubted it would be anything crucial.
Flain continued walking through the city, exploring various shops and other places. At the far end of the city, there was a castle with guards patrolling around it. After some time, he returned to the city's entrance, as the two hours had roughly passed.
