The rooms continued in this manner. All demigods that decided to come to Divine Academy had one form of combat-based God Aspect or another from their celestial guardian, and the school had provided a room where they would be able to build resistance to using their God Aspect.
A room held all the children of Poseidon, who had God Aspects related to water. The room was completely filled with water, and the demigods had been thrown in there without any form of breathing apparatus. The only way they could get a breath was for them to follow a maze toward an opening on the other side of the room, where a small slit was opened to allow them to take in air. As each demigod passed the test, the maze was going to get more and more complex. This way, the demigod literally had to feel for the water's movement in order to tell where the opening was.
Wouldn't the demigods die if they couldn't find the opening?
Of course, they would.
But that was also part of the test.
