Elena glared at the terrified thug, who was already crying as if he were being slaughtered even before her revenge had begun.
Annoyed, she retrieved her whip and struck it down on him.
As the red-haired thug looked at them, he finally realized they were human, which eased his panic slightly. However, confusion still clouded his mind.
'How did I get here?'
"Who are you? Why are you doing this to me?" the red-haired thug demanded, shielding his body as he sought an explanation for everything that had transpired.
"No hard feelings; you just pissed me off. Is that enough reason?" Elena replied, her tone icy as she continued to strike him with the whip.
The thug could sense the hatred radiating from Elena, but his instinct for survival kicked in. Desperately, he began to plead, offering anything he could in exchange for his safety.
"Please let me go. I have a lot of money on me," he begged, his voice trembling. "It's worth a fortune! How about ten million green coins?"
