Irene woke up midday after an exhausting night. However, her first thought wasn't pleased at how well-rested she was. She was worried that they forgot to wake her to see her father try on his new hand.
In a scramble, the girl built up the fire in her stove, washed herself with water that was always sitting on top of the stove, and got dressed so she could rush outside and into the Duke's Tower where her first priority was finding her father. She had left the box with the prosthetic hand with Sir Gunnar.
Since Sir Arthur was still staying in the Duke's Tower for monitoring and on the second floor, that was where she ran first.
His room was empty.
She began to start running through the Duke's Tower again but she found Sir Gunnar first.
"Where is my father, sir?" she asked.
"Dining hall," he responded. "You ought to eat your first meal as well."
"He hasn't seen the hand yet, has he?"
Sir Gunnar smirked slightly.
