Keelion parked the car in front of a building and Alexis, who was seated on the passenger side, peeked up at it.
"Is…this the place?"
"Yes," Keelion said slowly. "Get down."
She retook a glance. Wasn't it a bit too luxurious? This looked like something they'd pay a huge amount of money to even lodge for a day.
Ten thousand Weils? Thirty?
"Girl, get down from the car!"
Sereia, who was seated on her lap, snapped her out of her thoughts.
Alexis reached for the seatbelt and unbuckled it. She opened the door and stepped down, slamming it shut. Then she walked over to Keelion, following behind him as he approached the glass door.
The security at the front door bowed.
"Alpha."
Keelion stepped inside with her, took the elevator to the second floor, and all the while, all she could think about was how too expensive this place was. Not even her father, despite how rich he was, could own an apartment building this expensive-looking.
