Alexis sweated, beads of sweat dripping down her forehead. One of her hands that was pressed to the wall, dropped, and grabbed onto his wrist. The man raised a brow at the sudden action, noting her shallow breathing.
"What? I frighten you now?"
"No, that's not it," Alexis whispered, shaking her head at him. "Him—he frightens me."
Keelion didn't move.
Instead, he chuckled dryly. Of course, he didn't believe her.
"He frightens you, but you're curious about him?" he spat with vitriol.
"I'm not curious like that, Keelion. I just…I just wanted to know who he is, that is all. I've been feeling sick since—"
"You let him touch you," he muttered as his hand turned her head to make her look at him. "And I've told you no one should. Under no circumstances. Now, you reek of him."
Alexis dug her teeth into her bottom lip and he turned her around, leaving her back pressed against the wall. He trapped her, palms against the wall on either side of her head.
