Adam soared through the dark sky, his black wings spread wide as he cut through the night like a phantom. The neon green glow of the Monster World's sky illuminated his path; its eerie color mixed with the forest's own hue of deep-rooted purple, giving everything in the surrounding a dreamlike quality.
Or a nightmare outlook was the better term here.
Because what lay ahead certainly wasn't pretty.
But that aside, he had to admit one thing: that cry for help he had heard earlier was way off in the distance from where he initially was, but he was already near the source due to flying there instead of running.
Flap...Flap....Flap...Flap!!...
With each flap of his wings, his speed increased; in a way, his body treated all this first-hand experience as training.
As a result, he was a much better flyer than he was on his way here from the estate to the forest.
But all things considered, flying was convenient.
