He didn't like how the air tasted here.
He could sense miasma, but it was polluted—laced with other flavors of rot and sorrow, energies that didn't belong in the Human World. Adam's horns itched. Not literally, but in that sixth-sense way, like they were humming with something they recognized but hadn't yet named.
He didn't like it.
"...Right. So I'm guessing this isn't a sightseeing trip, or mere experimenting."
Priscilla smirked, just faintly, turning her head just enough to catch him in her peripheral vision.
"Fufufu... Well, I want to see how capable you are with those horns of yours, so I am going to find you a decent creature to play with."
Adam blinked. "Wait. You're serious?"
"I'm always serious," she replied sweetly. "Especially when I'm smiling like this."
