Then, Neal turned his attention to Ivanna. "And, Ive, you?" he asked, his eyes locked on hers.
Ivanna looked nervous, but she spoke up clearly. "I shouldn't have sneaked out late at night," she said.
Neal nodded, his expression still serious. "And?" he pressed on.
Ivanna's voice dropped to a murmur, but her words were still clear.
"I should have told you after I found out, before acting by myself."
Neal nodded, a look of satisfaction on his face. "It's good that you know,"
he said, his voice warm and approving.
Neal's eyes narrowed as he asked Ivanna,
"And why did you act that way earlier at the bar?"
He knew his sister well, and her behavior had been out of character.
Nick also looked at her curiously, wondering what had triggered her intense reaction.
Ivanna hesitated before responding,
"I just got angry."
Neal's expression remained skeptical.
"But why, Ivanna? You're not the type to act like that."
Nick nodded in agreement, his eyes still fixed on Ivanna.
