The sound of footsteps echo through the walls as Reinhard Namru Granbell—one of 7 lances and hero that known as the saviour of the world.
But here he is trying to kill his own granddaughter. What a criminal. But it just for his desire, no? What else? It's just a longing for revenge.
Revenge right, Reinhard was originally an orphan, he was never from Granbell family. But his wife, Kathleen is. He took her family name just because he doesn't have a family name.
But why he seek revenge? It's because Elizabeth was never his granddaughter. Let alone he had a son. His wife died just year after marriage. He life was filled with regret, regret that he failed to protect the love of his life.
She was killed brutally by a group of rebel. Kathleen was a former Lance and someone who is destined to be a Saber. She was weakened by the group's ganging up and jumping on her, just to assassinate her.
The greed is the reason that led to this tragedy. That's what Reinhard regret. And the real parents of Elizabeth is their leader. That's why Reinhard wanted to eliminate her the most.

"Grandpa! What do you think you're doing?" Said Elizabeth who was tied on the wall.
"What I am doing is none of your concern."
Reinhard replied coldly.
"If Raiden sees me like this, he will kill you!" Elizabeth spat the words in a hateful words, her voice like a venom.
"I wonder if he'll try." Reinhard replied coldly.
"He will and will always be!" Elizabeth screamed.
"I want to see him try." Reinhard replied again.
Suddenly, a fat man came to Reinhard and asked.
"Well, man, this bitch is loud, can I take care of her?" He asked, his eyes suspicious with evil intent.
"I want you guys to wait until Raiden come." Reinhard replied with a glare.
"Come on, don't be so stingy." The fat man said, fidgeting his hands. "We also have our group ready."
"I SAID WAIT!!" Reinhard spat out his words in disgust. Reinhard then sat down, and massaged his temples in frustration.
Elizabeth, struggles against the chains she's wrapped up with. With pained expression, she said, "Where's Satella?"
Reinhard looked at Elizabeth before replying. "She might be dead."
"No!" Elizabeth shouted in disbelief, then struggled again. She started crying out loud.
Annoying others.
"Come on man!" The fat guy chimed in. His eyes suspicious. He then gritted his cane in anger.
"I want you guys to wait seven days." Reinhard announced, making the group feels excited in bad ways.
"No, Grandpa!" Elizabeth cried out, her eyes teary as Reinhard suddenly announced.
Because of her scream, the fat man took action immediately by punching her face.
"Shut up bitch!" The fat man shouted as he just punched her with the force of a man.
That punch alone made Elizabeth stumble for a moment and her hands becoming red from the chains that tie her hands.
"It hurts... Why do you hit me?" Elizabeth asked, her voice exhausted. She struggles against the chains again trying to reduce the pain.
"Your Grandpa only said not to abuse you sexually, not physically." The fat man said.
As he said it, Elizabeth's eyes are wide and tears starting to form. She struggles as she scream again in fear, "No!!! Don't!!"

I lifted Satella's dead body with both of my hands lifting her like a princess. "Don't worry, I will take revenge for you." I muttered, tightening my grip on her.
My face contorted with anger. As I take a glance at Satella's lifeless body again.
"Emilia, let's go. I don't want to wait." Said I. And as I said that, Emilia was brought back to her thoughts.
At this moment, Mino came back, flapping her wings in graceful manner. It was beautiful and words can't describe. "Master," she said. "There are currently over 300-500 bandits waiting at the front of the church." She said as she observed the surroundings of the place where the victim is kidnapped.
"Lady Elizabeth is in the warehouse near the church." she said.
"Church? Which church?" I asked as there are already many churches in Ranmusia.
"It's near the lake Aurora." She said, "But I am unable to enter the church because I am a demon." Said Mino as she dropped her gaze in disappointment.
"I see... Normally it would take a week to go to Lake Aurora even with the carriage." I said. "But for the sake of Lady Elizabeth, I will use my beast mode."
As I said that, Mino and Emilia eyes are wide in suprise. "Are you sure?" Said Mino.
"Yes. I am pretty sure." I replied as I tightened my grip on Satella. "But let's go to the graveyard. And let's give Satella a proper burial." As I said that, Emilia's eyes teared up for a moment but she held it in.
I nodded Mino and Emilia and then walked outside and put Satella's body on the carriage. Mino then took the horse out from the horse house and let him carry the carriage.
"Let's go," Said Mino as she readies to drive the carriage. Me and Emilia sat beside eachother Infront of Satella's dead body. Emilia gaze never leaving her sister.
"Go." With a commend from Mino, the horse started moving. It passed the eerily quiet streets in the night.
Ding. Ding. Ding.
The bell from the church rang as we drive the carriage to the graveyard. The horseshoe sounds clip-clap.
Emilia was once again in a gaze, she wish this was an hallucination. I can't blame her for that either. She had just lost her twin sister.
Satella was a good girl, she was always kind and generous. But she just shook those good deeds with a nonchalant expression. But deep down, she is the greatest maid I've ever seen.
And I also don't know why Gramps killed her either. Is he controlled? I thought. As I placed my hands on the barrel nearby.
"Master," suddenly Mino's voice broke the silence. "Are you sure that you're gonna use your beast mode, Master?" She asked, her voice wary. "That would be risky as Ranmusia forbids demi-humans." She said.
"I know. And me and you are the fake humans here." I said resting my head on my fist.
"..." Because of my words, Mino became silent. And Emilia still staring at the dead body if her sister.
"You guys are hopeless" I muttered.

Strap, strap.
The sound of the shovel digging the break the silence of the graveyard. The hole for the dead is ready and Me and Emilia put the body inside. We three took a last look for Satella. Then, we put the dirt back into the pit.
"I regret that I was late." Said Emilia. "But I shall let her rest in peace." Emilia said as she connects her hands and pray for Satella.
"Let's discuss what to do." Said Mino, as
she finishes burying.
"Let's discuss." I echoed the words back. "But first, I will take all of these all by myself."
I said, which made both Mino and Emilia's eyes wide in suprise.
"No, let me handle too!" Said Emilia. "I don't want you to meddle with my family personal matters!"
"But you guys are my family!" I hit back, which made Emilia stunned for a moment. She then wrapped her arms around my wrist and cried. Her sobbing face digging though my clothes.
"Yes, please help me!!" Pleased Emilia.
I then patted her head and smiled.
"Don't worry, I am gonna make Reinhard Die-hard."
